Day 3
We decided to go to the second day of a massive Japanese festival called "Summer Sonic". This event consumed many venues including a large stadium, a huge convention center and several other surrounding buildings, making it the largest concert I've ever attended, (in terms of area of the event, number of people attending, and bands performing).
Here is a map of the complex:
Travelling between venues, and passing some rows of lanterns.
And now here are a bunch of band shots from throughtout the day. I'm sorry, all the pictures are terrible. Deal with it.

And here is me in front of a giant sign. I like signs.
Here we are watching the All American Rejects from within the Marine Stadium.

Lots of people at this concert liked to sit on the floor and take naps. Or maybe they were passed out. Not sure.
Andrew W. K. Made his way into the center of the crowd.
Some crazy guys with plungers on their heads...
The air guitar national championship.
The Artic Monkeys were cocky, but put on a good show.
Fort Minor probably put on the best performance. They brought out Chester Bennington from Linkin Park to join Mike Shinoda, (fellow Linkin Park bandmate and lead member of Fort Minor).
DJ Shadow
Linkin Park for the finale.
